Hello World! We are MRZSQ (pronounced Mar-Zees-Que) Studio, a lifestyle brand that aims to inspire through the belief that the greater good begins with oneself. There is a great deal of beauty in the world, yet there is so much going on as well. Many people yearn for a purpose to keep living amidst it all, and here at MRZSQ Studio, we can relate. We believe in the power of art and storytelling to create a more mindful and vibrant life for ourselves. By channeling the diverse types of stories within and around us through impactful, high-quality illustrations woven into low-waste apparel, we aim to ignite a culture where people are reminded what it truly means to be human and connect with themselves and others to create a more compassionate world.
The Person Behind the Brand
I am an illustrator and fashion designer based in Minneapolis. I grew up first as a self-taught artist, but as someone who loves to dress up, I took it upon myself to pursue fashion. However, that doesn't mean I left art for good; instead, that passion got stronger, and I discovered ways to combine it with my knowledge of clothing and textiles. Thus, I create illustrations inspired by pop culture, nature, and my personal experiences, as well as those around me, weaving them into mindful upcycled clothing using whatever is at my disposal.
