Hello World! We are MRZSQ (pronounced Mar-Zees-Que) Studio, a lifestyle brand aiming to inspire others through the belief that the greater good starts with yourself. There is a great deal of beauty in the world, yet there is so much going on as well. Many people yearn for a purpose to keep living amidst it all, and here at MRZSQ Studio, we can relate. We believe in the power of art, beauty, storytelling, and community to create a better life for ourselves and those coming after us. By channeling the diverse beauty and stories around us into impactful, high-quality illustrations and editorial photography further translated into low-waste apparel, we aim to inspire a culture where people are reminded what it truly means to be human and connect with themselves and others to create a more colorful world.
The Person Behind the Brand
I am an illustrator and fashion designer based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I grew up first as a self-taught artist, but as someone who loves to dress up, I took it upon me to pursue fashion. However, that doesn't mean I left art for good; instead, that passion got stronger, and I discovered ways to merge it with my knowledge of clothing and textiles. Thus, I create illustrations inspired by pop culture, vibrant colors, nature, and my personal experiences and others, translating them into upcycled or other forms of sustainable clothing using whatever is at my disposal.
